Each one has a different set of rules. A child could be between the ages of 13 months to 10-13 years. The age 10-13 is when adolescence begins. Some people say your still a child until you become an adult. You just have to make sure you enter the right contest. It is better to thoroughly research the contest your entering then to be disappointed later.
